Webfishing

In WebFishing, you control a fisherman (or fisher avatar) and cast your line into the water with a click or tap. Timing and precision matter: you need to release at the right moment to cast far, and then carefully reel in the line to hook fish. Some fish put up more of a fight and may require you to balance tension or avoid snapping the line.

Each fish has different rarity, size, and value, contributing to your score or in-game currency. You can use your earnings to upgrade your rod, line strength, bait, and even unlock new fishing locations like lakes, rivers, or deep-sea zones. Some versions may include time challenges, boss fish, or collectible aquariums.

The game loop is simple: cast --> catch --> upgrade --> explore --> repeat, with relaxing visuals and sounds designed for casual, satisfying gameplay—ideal for short sessions or long progression goals.

Sometimes, the gameplay makes me feel a little backwards...

  1. Basic Worm
    • A common bait that attracts small, low-value fish. Ideal for beginners.
  2. Crickets A
    • Effective in freshwater areas; increases catch rate for fast, mid-tier fish.
  3. Leeches AA
    • Best for murky or swampy waters; attracts aggressive or uncommon fish.
  4. Minnows AAA
    • Small live bait that draws predatory fish, improving chances for larger catches.
  5. Squid AAAA
    • Preferred in deep-sea fishing zones; increases odds of rare deep-water species.
  6. Nautilus AAAAA
    • A rare bait that can summon ancient or legendary ocean creatures.
  7. Gilded Worm AAAAA
    • An ultra-rare, shimmering bait that boosts catch value and guarantees high-tier fish.

"a" denotes the rarity of fish you can catch with it; it goes from 0-5:
0 stars: normal
A: shining
AA: glistening
AAA: pulent
AAAA: radiant
AAAAA: alpha
